SPORTSMAN 500 REMINGTON SPECIAL EDITION
Using a unique and exclusive graphics application technique, Polaris is producing a limited number of Sportsman 500 Remington Special Edition model ATVs. Each Sportsman 500 Remington Special Edition ATV will feature Mossy Oak® Break-Up camo pattern body panels, along with the Remington Special Edition logo discreetly applied on the front cover of the vehicle. Along with the unique camo pattern, the Sportsman 500 Remington Special Edition ATVs have a rack extender on their front cargo racks, and sturdy tubular front and rear bumpers. Yet it the camo pattern-and how it’s applied-that is the most unique aspect of these limited edition models. The process starts when the Mossy Oak® camo pattern is applied to a special formulation backing material. The camo pattern with the backing is then chemically activated and applied to the Sportsman 500 body panels. The pattern wraps onto the body panels, hugging every contour of the fenders, headlight pod, and side panels. The panels are then treated with a tough clear coat. This process creates a high resolution detail camo pattern with an extremely durable bond which is far superior to other attempts to camouflage ATVs, including cloth covers, paint, or decals. Under the unique “skin” of the Sportsman 500 Remington Special Edition is the Polaris Sportsman 500.
