VERY IMPORTANT! You will need the circlip from your stock axle! Do not throw this away! It centers the axle and proper alignment without it is almost impossible to achieve. Also the clip IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM SUZUKI!

With the front and rear suspension bolted up, we are ready to install the rear axle and make this an actual "rolling" chassis!

As you can see our LT500 was delivered in slightly less than pristine showroom condition. Usually if I'm going to split the cases I'll do most of the disassembly while the engine is mounted securely in the frame. If you leave the chain connected, you can lock the rear brake with a prybar under the footpeg and frame. This will lock your engine up tight in first gear.
