Doug Eichner

As most of you know, Doug Eichner, the WORCS 5x ATV Pro Champion, was involved in a very nasty crash during practice on Friday at Glen Helen.  Doug apparently got mixed up and took a turn backwards on the course where he and fellow ATV racer John Natalie collided on the front table top.  Natalie was thrown off and suffered multiple broken ribs, but was able to re-focus and actually rode Sunday in the Pro race to a 5th place Overall.

Doug however took the majority of the damage, suffering multiple broken ribs, a collapsed lung, facial lacerations, and a severely broken arm/wrist which required over 6 hours of surgery on Saturday.  

Doug was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino, Ca where he is recovering in ICU. At this time, I ask everyone to keep the Eichner family in their prayers as he is slowly recovering from this horrific accident.
