It's official - Dune
Season is here! When the temperature in the pool drops
below 90, it's a sign that the evenings are cooling off. That
means that somewhere, the sand is cooling off too. So by
mid-September we eagerly put the paddles back on our three trusty
steeds and set off for a quick day ride to Armagosa Dunes, just
north of Las Vegas.
Armagosa is the
perfect spot if you don't have much time, or if you want a
more-private get away. You will probably see only one or
two other groups camped there, which makes it the perfect place to
bring the kids, the dog, the first-timer. We brought all
three!
