Just over a year ago, we introduced you to a brand new line of gear marketed by Rocky Mountain ATV/MX, ARC (Advanced Rider Coverage). For 2004, they came out with several new variations and continue to win over riders, professional and sportsman alike. For the money, you can't beat the styling. The couple concerns we found long-term with last year's gear (namely, velcro) were dealt with across all product lines this year, and again, we are impressed.

Again for 2004, ARC Corona brings you the styles in three basic color schemes, so if you just need to pick up new jersey, it will match last year's helmet and pants just fine. But for the price, you can easily pick up a whole new set-up and still pay less than what some other high dollar names charge for pants alone. And without factory sponsorship, who can afford to play that game?

For 2003, you could pick your favorite color scheme - blue, red, or grey. 2004 gear easily coordinates with these same basic colors.

Earlier this year we looked at the exciting new "younger" look, the Torq NVert. Very stylin, over-the-pants style, zip off sleeves and legs.

For a more traditional competitive look, this month we checked out the Rocky Mountain Spring "Hot Buy" - Corona-V.

The Corona-V features new flashy styling, but first and most important, is the obvious focus on cooler, more comfortable riding. Check out the jersey, available with full mesh on the sleeves and back. Chest remains full polyester, since that's where the wind hits you when your're racing, or just putting around the dunes.

· Available in standard and vented construction
· 100% Polyester construction
· V-Jersey features a vented back panel and sleeves
· Oversized style pattern for a no bind fit
· Provides excellent air flow and sweat absorption
· Lightly padded elbows
· Adult and kids sizes available.
· V-neck collar

The pants are sharp, with more detail in the stitching. And as we said, the waistband and fly now are nice heavy-duty plastic zipper and elastic, no velcro to catch in the laundry or snag other gear stuffed in the gear bag. Hip pads are large and quite thick.

· Available in standard and vented construction
· 840 Denier nylon construction with full liner.
· Corona-V has vented, high air flow regions
· Triple stitching in all high wear areas.
· Extra wide sublimated side Spandex.
· Above the knee stretch panels for increased air flow
· Adult and kid sizes available.

Finish your riding gear with complete equipment including matching ARC boots and Corona-V gloves.

Team ORC will be sporting the Torq NVert and Corona-V gear throughout this coming season. We'll be racing across the desert southwest, and muddying it up in the hills of the Pacific Northwest. If we can manage to destroy the gear, we'll be sure to let you know!

Pricing on the Corona gear is very reasonable, ordering and shipping from Rocky Mountain couldn't be simpler, and they are VERY easy to work with if you need to exchange sizes.

And, as with other Rocky Mountain apparel, they'll even give you free ground shipping in 48 states on $100 purchase.
