2000 YAMAHA SPORT ATVs Included in this
year’s crop of Yamaha sport ATVs are the Banshee, "the
ultimate high-performance ATV;” the Warrior, one of
America’s most popular sport recreational vehicles and the
Blaster, considered by many as one of the best values in the
industry.
BANSHEE Simply put, the Banshee is the
ultimate in performance all-terrain vehicles. With its dominating
347cc liquid-cooled engine and twin 26mm Mikuni carburetors, the
Banshee remains the world’s only production twin-cylinder,
two-stroke high performance ATV. Other features include a manual
clutch, close ratio six speed transmission, 31.5 inch high seat,
aggressive knobby tires and powerful 30 watt halogen headlamps.
Tough terrain is handled by the Banshee’s double wishbone
front suspension and single shock/swingarm rear suspension, that
produces nine inches of travel up front and 8.7 inches in the rear.
Braking is optimized by a powerful hydraulic system featuring dual
front discs and a massive single disc in the rear. The Banshee
weighs 386 pounds and features lightweight aluminum wheels and a
3.2 gallon fuel tank. The 2000 Banshee comes in a choice of
Red/Yellow, or Team Yamaha Blue/White color scheme and is available
for a suggested retail price of $5,899.
