BLASTER The Blaster pairs low price with a
high-fun factor wrapped up in a lightweight and durable chassis.
Known for its responsiveness, the Blaster’s quick-revving
195cc air-cooled two stroke engine with a close ratio six-speed
transmission and manual clutch offers recreational riders a great
value in off-road riding.
Yamaha’s double wishbone front
suspension and single shock/swingarm rear suspension offer more
than seven inches of travel and give the Blaster its comfortable
ride. Both the front and rear suspensions also benefit from
preload-adjustable shocks for fine tuning to different riding
conditions. Effective braking is obtained by dual front drum brakes
and a self adjusting disc in the rear.
For convenient maintenance,
the Blaster features Yamaha’s reliable Autolube Oil Injection
system, which eliminates premixing of oil and gas. The 2000 Blaster
comes in Red/White and Team Yamaha Blue/White, and is available at
Yamaha dealers for a suggested retail price of $2,999.
