After engine has been installed and all fluids replenished (coolant/water, gear oil etc) you must then break the engine in properly. Improper break in results in lower reliability and possible engine seizures.

I have been a long time user of Collett's early version of The Communicator. I was turned on to the device during a Rubicon trail ride, which is another story all together. There were 5 of us riding ATVs and we all had Communicators. The communications during the ride made the trip that much more enjoyable. We were able to share the ride experience as we were riding, telling jokes and helping each other through tough spots on the trail. Me and my riding buddies were sold on the idea of The Communicator and soon went out and purchased our own....so you know I was excited when the folks at Collett Electronics agreed to let me try out their new Communicator 900.

When I was asked to do a review of the Hitch Hand I really didn't know what to expect. From what I understood it was some sort of device that would fit into your receiver hitch and allow you to extend the length of your truck bed. The ATV section was asked to do the review because claims were made that with the Hitch Hand would allow you to easily haul two full sized quads end to end with a standard sized pickup. Well I was ready to put these claims to the test.

What is pressure testing? Pressure testing is a test performed on a two stroke engine to ensure that the engine has no air leaks. An air leak in a two stroke engine can cause a lean condition in your engines air-fuel mixture. This in turn can result in serious engine damage. For example: Piston seizure, detonation, etc. Note: There is absolutely no way to ensure that your engine doesn't have an air leak without performing the following test.

Getting the quads to the trail head can sometimes be a pain. When you think about it there aren't that many hauling options. You can tow a trailer or load them in the bed of your pickup. Sometimes towing a trailer isn't practical.

I have had my '92 GMC Suburban for about 2 ý years now and it has served me and my family well. The truck is used mainly as a daily driver for my wife on the short hauls of the kids to and from school and all their other various activities on their busy social schedule. Once my wife got used to the size, an upgrade from a 94 Ford Explorer, she has enjoyed the roominess and seating capacity of the Suburban. On the weekends the truck turns into a real work horse hauling various items related to projects around the house as well as acting as a tow vehicle for our 20 foot family ski boat and our 18 foot Weekend Warrior with a gaggle of quads inside.

What better way to start a new year off than to spend it in sunny Glamis California with friends and family. This year the trip started the day after Christmas...
