The new auxilliary battery will go on the driver side front opposite of
the main battery. The horn will need to be moved down to make way but
otherwise this area is empty. There are already small dimples in the
sheetmetal where the Aux tray mounts.
We drilled a couple holes in the side of the tray leg to allow mounting of the relay under the auxuilliary battery.
Relay and tray leg mounted in place.
This shows the new auxilliary battery tray mounted in place.
Wrangler
NW uses a 200 amp continuous duty relay. This is a heavy duty relay
with silver allied points that will not stick or corrode.
Next
we needed to get out the cable kit. The cables are labeled NEG and POS
and cut to length. The lugs are all sealed and strengthened with heat
shrink tubing. The cables are made from super flexible fine strand
hi-amp copper.
